As the last few campers leave the rain soaked grounds of Ohsweken Speedway, details outlining ticket refund / exchange options have been finalized.
“Before we get into the mechanics of the process, on behalf of Glenn, Tina, Cheryl, and the entire staff of Ohsweken Speedway we would like to personally thank each and everyone of you for coming out and supporting the speedway and staying with us while we made the painful decision to cancel” stated special event coordinator Ken Pelkie. “The decision was not an easy one for either the speedway or World of Outlaw officials as all of us wanted to race before you the fans and the SPEED Channel cameras that were set up and ready to role. Many factors and scenarios must be addressed along with scheduling options before a final decision like this can be made with confidence that you have researched all possibilities. With the exhausting schedule that the Outlaws maintain which demands many miles of travel from ocean to ocean it makes scheduling “rain dates” very difficult and is something that the World Racing Group does not like to do in advance of any events on any of their schedules. Travel and timing as is the case here will not allow the “SIX NATIONS SHOWDOWN” to be made up in 2008. Next year all parties have indicated a return will be on the schedule with dates to be announced as soon as they are finalized. Your patience and understanding in the whole matter has been and continues to be very much appreciated ” Pelkie concluded.
Cheryl Pelkie who is in charge of advanced ticket sales for the speedway will be in charge of the Ticket return program with the assistance of Dawn beginning Monday morning July 28. Refunds or exchanges will be handled over the next three (3) weeks only and must go through either of these two individuals in order to keep accurate records and consistency in the procedure.

For those who do not have a computer available, Dawn will be at the speedway on August 1 and 8 from 5:30 until 8:00PM to handle your needs.
THE SAME INFORMATION WILL NEED TO BE GATHERED THERE AS INDICATED BELOW IN #1 AND THE ORIGINAL TICKETS WILL HAVE TO BE TURNED IN SO THE REQUEST CAN BE PROCESSED PROPERLY.
Ticket returns and exchanges must be handled through the person who purchased the tickets in order for us to insure that the proper people are receiving the credit.
Several options will be available to address your tickets which will be outlined as follows:
1/ - If you purchased your tickets in advance over the telephone your Tickets can be “Rolled Over” to 2009 World of Outlaw “Six Nations Showdown” tickets for the same seats as you had for 2008.
If you choose this option you do not need to call.
You do need to email us at pelkiekj@ebtech.net outlining the option you wish to choose, indicate the name that the tickets were purchased in, a phone number that you can be reached at both day and night so we can confirm verbally with you, the Section, Row Number, and Seat Number along with the number of tickets you have. You also need to include your proper street address for mailing purposes.
You also need to mail in the original tickets (or copies) in order to complete the transaction to:

Tina Styres will be in charge of the PIT PASS wrist band “Rain Checks”/ Returns / Exchanges program for the speedway beginning Monday morning also. Refunds or exchanges will be handled over the next three (3) weeks only.
Again, several options will be available to address your needs which will be outlined as follows:
1/ - If you are a regular who possess a “Pit Membership” you may exchange your wrist band at any one of the next three weeks of racing (until August 15). You must turn in your wrist band to get credit for this offer.
2/ - If you purchased a $40 Pit Pass you may exchange your wrist band at any one of the next three weeks of racing (until August 15) and the difference will be refunded to you. You must turn in your wrist band to get credit for this offer.
3/ - If you purchased a $40 Pit Pass and will not be returning to Ohsweken Speedway you may
