‘KEARS SPEED SHOP and BICKNELL RACING PRODUCTS to Share “FAST TIME” AWARDS FOR 2007 ARROW EXPRESS - CANADIAN NATIONALS’

For Immediate Release - Ken Pelkie, Canadian Nationals Event Coordinator
The third annual “Arrow Express, Canadian Sprint Car Nationals” set to run at the Styres’ Family owned Ohsweken Speedway in Ontario is pleased to announce that Kears Speed Shop has stepped up as the sponsor of the “Fastest Overall Qualifier”, along with the return of Bicknell Racing Products as sponsor of the “Fastest Canadian Qualifier” awards for the upcoming event on September 15th.

“We are very pleased to have a leader in the sprint car performance industry such as Kears Speed Shop of Tiffin, Ohio stepping up to support the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals as the sponsor of the overall “Fast Time” award” stated event sponsorship coordinator Cheryl Pelkie in making the announcement. A long time supporter of sprint car racing throughout the mid west, Shirley Kear and her staff have been offering a wealth of experience and information to benefit their customers since 1969.

Shirley can be reached at HYPERLINK "http://www.kearsspeedshop.com" www.kearsspeedshop.com to provide more information on their full line of products and services.

The “Fastest Canadian Qualifier” will also be recognized at the “Arrow Express - Canadian Sprint Car Nationals” on September 15th as local racing manufacturer and supplier “Bicknell Racing Products” will return for the second year to post the award.

“It is not often that sprint car racing in Canada is recognized by a local company the caliber of Bicknell’s exclaimed Cheryl Pelkie in confirming the arrangement. “For some thirty years, BRP has been a manufacturer and supplier to the DIRT Modified racers in Ontario, Quebec, and throughout the northeastern United States. Their longevity in the business has also made them a valued resource for many of the local sprint car racers to obtain necessary components. We are not only pleased but also proud to have Bicknell Racing Products once again as a Nationals sponsor”.

Be sure to look them up at HYPERLINK "http://www.bicknellracingproducts.com" www.bicknellracingproducts.com for all of your racing needs.

Kears Speed Shop, along with Bicknell Racing Products, joins Quaker State as official sponsors of the “Arrow Express, Canadian Sprint Car Nationals”. Look for further announcements in the coming days leading up to race day on September 15th as other leading racing suppliers confirm their involvement in the contingency sponsorship program.

Pre-entry has once again been strong with sixty-seven teams having filed for the September 15th event at the close of early registration on August 15th. Most of the top teams from all of the five affiliate sanctioning groups are expected to attend along with a few surprise entries making the final entry list on race day read like a “who’s who of sprint car racing” in the northeastern region.

Everyone is reminded that if you missed the pre-entry cut-off, further entries will be accepted on race day at $85. Entry forms are available by contacting the Event Registrar, Cheryl Pelkie at (519)542-2116 or e-mail - HYPERLINK "mailto:pelkiekj@ebtech.net" pelkiekj@ebtech.net or at the track on race day. All sprint cars that meet the “Arrow Express - Canadian Sprint Car Nationals” technical rules are welcome to participate.

Pre-entries filed include Kevin Job, and Rick Wilson of the Southern Ontario Sprints; Dustin Daggett, and Brett Mann of ASCS - Sprints On Dirt; Bryan Howland, and Chuck Hebing of the ASCS Patriot Sprint Group, Empire Super Sprint regulars Lance Yonge, Jeff VanDusen, and Jessica Zemken while NRA’s Tim Allison and Darren Long are expected to be in the field when the green flag drops.
